Amazon SES · Route 53

Outgoing email with Amazon SES without fighting with DNS

Your SES domains and addresses in each region, which DNS records are missing (DKIM, SPF, DMARC, MAIL FROM) and, if the domain is in Route 53, they add themselves. Daily quota, sent, bounces and complaints per domain, suppression list, and the request to leave testing mode made from Simplio.

Available in SimplioUpdated on 31/10/2026

How it works

  1. You see your SES identities

Domains and addresses, per region, with their status: verified or not, DKIM, SPF, DMARC and MAIL FROM in green or red.

  2. You add what is missing

If the domain is in Route 53, one button adds the missing records. If it's with another provider, Simplio gives you the exact records to copy.

  3. You leave testing mode

SES starts in "sandbox": it only sends to verified addresses. The request to leave is made from Simplio.

  4. You watch sending health

Daily quota, sent, bounces and complaints per domain, and the suppression list. If bounces go up, you get an alert.

How secure it is

DNS records, without copy errors

Simplio writes to Route 53 exactly what SES asks for. Not a single letter changed, which is the cause of half of all "won't verify" cases.

Separate permission

Email is an action of its own, granted per person and per account.

Bounce alerts

A high percentage of bounces or complaints makes AWS limit or suspend sending. The alert arrives first.
